In response to a national call for white allies to engage white folks in racial justice, we are going door-to-door in predominantly white neighborhoods to distribute window signs reading \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Black Lives Matter\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and plugging people into ongoing racial justice efforts in Boston. Email bostondoorknockers@gmail.com for more info.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Right to Remain Boston Assembly &amp; Action<\/strong> on Saturday, October 3rd, 9:30am at the Vietnamese American Community Center, 42 Charles St. in Dorchester. The Right to Remain Coalition, anchored by the Right to the City Boston and Boston Tenant Coalition, will bring together renters, home-owners, low-wage workers, people of color, immigrants, and namy others affected by the displacement crisis in the most rapidly\u00c2\u00a0gentrifying city in the country. Shadia Sbait and Amir Toumie of Iqrit, a small community of Palestinians who were exiled from their village in what became Israel in 1948, will tell the story of their ongoing struggle to return home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serenading Immigration Detainees<\/strong> on Sunday, October 11th, 7:45pm at South Bay Detention Center, 20 Bradston St. in Boston. This will be the third year that we bring brass music to Undocumented immigrants in detention.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Decade of Black and Pink<\/strong> on Friday, October 16th, 6pm at Hibernian Hall, 182 Dudley St. Join us as we kick off a weekend of celebration, community building, healing, skills sharing, and strategizing for the future!!!
