You\u00c2\u2019&#8217;re invited for a night of food\u00c2\u00a0music, and community-building. Participants are\u00c2\u00a0welcome to share ideas about how LPC can better\u00c2\u00a0provide for the community as well as announcements\u00c2\u00a0about projects, campaigns and upcoming\u00c2\u00a0events.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackandpink.org\/\">Black and Pink<\/a> Boston\u00c2\u2019&#8217;s Holiday Card Party<\/strong> to\u00c2\u00a0LGBTQ Prisoners on Tuesday, December 9th at 6pm\u00c2\u00a0at MakeShift, 549 Columbus Ave in the South End.<br \/>\nHonor the holiday season by sending love to\u00c2\u00a0LGBTQ prisoners who are so often forgotten during\u00c2\u00a0the holidays. Help us to write cards, draw pictures,\u00c2\u00a0and send notes to remind our Black and Pink family\u00c2\u00a0members that we care about them and are keeping\u00c2\u00a0up the fight for abolition. All ages welcome, snacks\u00c2\u00a0provided, donations of stamps and holiday cards\u00c2\u00a0welcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Community Circle: Allyship in Communities of\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Color and Beyond<\/strong> on Tuesday, December 9th at\u00c2\u00a06:30pm at 485 Columbus Ave. in the South End. This<br \/>\ndiscussion group will focus on internalized racism,\u00c2\u00a0racist acts and allyship. This month the focus will be\u00c2\u00a0on allyship and its roll in strengthening community.\u00c2\u00a0What do you expect from POC allies? White allies?\u00c2\u00a0The group will cover some foundational information\u00c2\u00a0about racism and prejudice, break into caucuses and\u00c2\u00a0debrief in a large group. Allies are welcome.\u00c2\u00a0Community Circle is a safe(r) space where LGBTQ\u00c2\u00a0people of color and allies discuss topics ranging\u00c2\u00a0from politics to pop culture. Hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hbgc-boston.org\/\">Hispanic\u00c2\u00a0Black Gay Coalition<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/jamaicaplainforum.org\/\"><strong>Class Lives\u00c2\u201d Book Release and Class Story Slam<\/strong><\/a> on\u00c2\u00a0Thursday, December 11th at 7pm at First Church in\u00c2\u00a0Jamaica Plain, 6 Eliot Street. Celebrate the release of\u00c2\u00a0Class Action\u00c2\u2019s newest book, \u00c2\u201cClass Lives: Stories\u00c2\u00a0from across our Economic Divide\u00c2\u201d. We\u00c2\u2019&#8217;ll hear some\u00c2\u00a0juicy stories from our editors and contributors and,\u00c2\u00a0if you&#8217;\u00c2\u2019re so inclined, participate in a mini story slam\u00c2\u00a0with your own 3-minute stories.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bikesnotbombs.org\">Bikes Not Bombs<\/a> 30th Anniversary Party<\/strong> on\u00c2\u00a0Thursday December 11th from 6-10pm at Doyle\u00c2\u2019s\u00c2\u00a0Cafe, 3484 Washington Street in Jamaica Plain. You\u00c2\u2019re invited to the Jobs with\u00c2\u00a0Justice office to celebrate the holidays with the Mass.\u00c2\u00a0Jobs with Justice staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pe\u00c3\u00b1a Latinoamericana: International Human\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Rights\/International Migrant Workers Day<\/strong> on\u00c2\u00a0Saturday, December 13th at 7pm at <a href=\"http:\/\/encuentro5.org\/home\/\">Encuentro 5<\/a>, 9A<br \/>\nHamilton Place by the Park St. T station. A pe\u00c3\u00b1a is a\u00c2\u00a0gathering of musicians, artists, and friends who\u00c2\u00a0come to share their work and to play together.
